News Looking into the future.

About

About this archive

MTK News was a volunteer-run STEM and technology publication that operated from 2021 until it concluded in 2024. Across its run it published 700+ articles — covering technology, space, science, automotive, world events and more — written by dozens of contributors.

This is a partial archive. A data-loss incident destroyed much of the original publication’s content, and not every article could be recovered. What survives here is 325 articles by 26 writers, rebuilt from the publication’s last available export. It is an incomplete but faithful record of the work that could be saved — not the full catalogue of 700+ articles MTK News produced.

The site is a fully static archive, preserved after the original content-management system went offline. Every surviving article was rebuilt from the export so the writing remains readable and citable — there is no live database or server behind it.

A note on images & links

Because the original MTK News servers are no longer online, some in-article images that were hosted there could not be recovered; where that happened, a small placeholder marks the spot. External links and the handful of images hosted elsewhere are preserved as they were. Article text is reproduced in full.
